OC Catholic Sex-Abuse Survivor to Protest at St. Angela Merici Tomorrow

• This is absolutely insane! I went to St. Angela Merici school and served Mass with Fr. Al as an Altar Server many times! He is one of the best priests I have ever known... and I known many!!! Fr. Al was at St. Angela's for many years, loved by the parishioners, and was not rushed off to the Vatican as someone suggested. Someone really needs to get their facts straight!

• To KL and ANYONE who has read the above comment, I am Father Al Baca’s only nephew that is a police officer. Although this article, and the above comment in particular, are several months old, they were just recently brought to my attention. I have never said ANYTHING that would insinuate Fr. Al Baca is ANY kind of threat to ANY child or ANYONE. Fr. Al has the purest heart of any person I know. He has devoted his life to God’s Work and should be commended at every level, rather than falsely portrayed on a website such as this. To speculate with the same false accusations about someone who has devoted their life’s work to serve The Lord is blasphemy. • As the thread of corruption runs through the Diocease, it sewed through St. Angela's in a wierd way, after being transeferred from St. Joseph in Santa Ana (and ronically being replaced by kiddie porn laptop lover Fr. Ceasarr Salazar)Fr. Al Baca found himself in the cozy confines of St. Angelas in Brea. No sooner was he there than he was skirted off to the Vatican "to study" for a few years. • Seems anywhere child molesters worked, pedo-protecting clerics like Flores follow to keep a cover-up on crimes. In 1991, after Fr. John Lenihan publicly admitted molesting me when I was a child, I received anonymous telephone calls from parishioners from St. Angela Merci claiming that Lenihan was transferred to St. Norberts in Orange after being caught in sexual misconduct at St. Angela Merci in Brea. It's no wonder why OC's Bishop Mike Driscoll who covered up for Lenihan and others child molesting clerics here simply traded posts with Bishop Brown from Idaho. They protect eachothers' crimes/cover-ups. Thanks to Joelle and SNAP for reaching out to protect the vulnerable by exposing crimes and these dangerous men desquised as shepherds!

I hear that vandals dumped cagada all over rosy lima carpets and smeared butter on a few curtains and now everybody is boo-hooing. • I am very disappointed in the fact that Bishop Tod Brown and the Diocese of Orange have gone this long without a grand jury investigation. There is no way in hell that children placed under the supervision of Diocese of Orange employees are safe from not only sex crimes but civil rights violations. And, it is not because no one requested a grand jury investigaiton---many have! The OC District Attorney, the OC Sheriff, the OC Board of Supervisors and politically-connected attorneys have ENABLED Bishop Brown, his attorneys, HR Directors, and school administrators, to obstruct justice, violate conflict of interest statutes, COMMIT PERJURY IN A COURT OF LAW, and defame former Diocese of Orange employees who have exercised their guaranteed civil liberties involving freedoms of speech, press, opinion and petition government with a grievance. Ms. Guzman is so correct in asking why there has never been a grand jury investigation into the Diocese of Orange's years of obstructions of justice, judicial abuse and failures to report child endangerment, as mandated by law. Bishop Brown is a smart business man... he thinks that settling sex abuse lawsuits will most likely silence victims of sex abuse crimes. However, Brown is so wrong, just like many of his attorneys. NOTE: Victims of sex abuse crimes in Orange County, California, and througout the world, will NEVER be silenced. They will continue to speak out so other precious children and vulnerable adults will not have their lives destroyed because a powerful religious institution has the resources to hide sex crimes, abuse the judicial system and stall long enough for statutes of limitation to expire. In my opinion, many of Bishop Brown's legal and school supervisory employees continue to make a fool out of Bishop Brown and until Bishop Brown CLEANS HIS HOUSE, no child, adult or employee will be safe... In the event Diocesan legal counsel orders the dogs loose again on my family and I, as they have done for many years, don't bother! This is my personal opinion and I have EIGHT years of documentation to prove evey statement herein. If you would like to sue me for libel and slander, then by all means, please do so. You will NEVER silence me until Bishop Brown CLEANS his house of criminals who care more about their careers, than the protections of children. The OC District Attorney, the OC Sheriff, and the OC Board of Supervisors WILL NOT do the right thing.... they have all ENABLED too many obstruction of justice crimes and ignored years of crimes reports, to actually come clean now. That means, there will not be a grand jury investigation. All I can say is SHAME ON ALL OF YOU for placing your political and financial objectives before the oath you have taken to protect the public from sexual predators, hiding behind pastoral privilege and freedom of religion.

• Why can't a Grand Jury be convened to examine the trail of coverups in Orange County? How can members of the Hierarchy continue to get a Free Pass and a "Get out of Jail Free Card," just because they are Roman Catholic Prelates? Is the government afraid of them? Do lawmakers fear losing votes if the sins and transgressions of the Hierarchy and their underlings are exposed to the public? How long can this go on? When will enough be enough?
