Comment by oc4ever: I would like to know where heavysigh gets his/her statistic of 'hundreds of thousands" (laughable) people waiting in line to adopt black babies. I know a thing or two about this . . . In fact those involved in foster care will tell you that not surprisingly, a LOT of these 'older children' that heavysigh admits are much harder to get adopted happen to be black!!! Why? Because there is no demand for them whatsoever when they're babies.

Editor's Note: The only connection I could find between the story being commented on and the comment about black babies is the fact that, as the photograph accompanying the article shows, the doctor in question is black.
