Comment: I don't understand why the Register has a column entirely devoted to Mexican people's causes. Do you ever cover people who are non hispanic?* And living here legally.

Editor's note. *Yes the autistic girl has a "hispanic" surname and might even be the child of "Mexican people." And no, the article contains no evidence whatsoever as to whether the autistic girl's parents came to the US illegally. The girl's mother couldn't be reached for comment--she died of breast cancer last year. You suck.

What is it with people and paying so much attention to ethnic race? Every time we choose to make a negative comment it just has us going backwards instead of forward. I am sure the "NEWSPAPER" covers everything and everyone (RACE)...Not sure if you read the whole paper?
Excellent question. This is reverse racism. Where are the college grants for white people? Special programs I don't have access too. Stories of our struggles to find jobs and pay bills? OC register is then next paper to go under.
I'm not a racist and am married to a first generation Latina and have child together, yet I too find it troublesome that some much emphasis is placed on certain ethnic groups and not others. I can view this as racist in and of itself. I'm second generation Italian/German. Do you think that my parent's nationalities ever received such attention in their days? Why don't they now?
