Rohrabacher, undeniably a hawk in his elder years, skipped military service during the Vietnam War and spent part of the Clinton White House years bone-headedly lobbying on behalf of the Taliban while it aided Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda prepare to carry out the September 11, 2001, terrorists attacks on the United States.
