Seriously, what's scarier than an Insane Clown Posse fan? An entire venue of Insane Clown Posse fans. Observe:
Chris Victorio
We're scared.
On Sunday night, 9/27, Insane Clown Posse visited the Grove of Anaheim. And it was uh, insane. A Faygo massacre. The photos, they scare us. Click here for a sea of wasted soda, really, really dedicated fans, tons of bad clown make-up and live shots of a group that's remained puzzlingly popular for what seems like a lifetime. Whoop, whoop.
John Gilhooley
Dolla dolla bill y'alllll: Davey Warsop, formerly of Beat Union, but now part of the Hurley family.
Next, photographer John Gilhooley hit up the third annual Cycle Zombies event at Hurley HQ in Irvine. A tradition put on by Turkey and Chase Stopnick every year, Cycle Zombies hosts live music, a motorcycle rally, barbecue and skate jam. It looks as awesome as it sounds, and the people involved sure are pretty. Take a look at the rest of the photos from the day here.
After the jump: Irreverent white boy dance rapper Mickey Avalon and his scantily clad, sexually suggestive back-up dancers makin' their mommas proud and the return of the Get Up Kids.
Mickey Avalon: Tough life.
Keith May
Mickey Avalon performed at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana on Saturday, 9/26. Kloud, machete Fight, See For Yourself and the Pricks opened.
You might know Avalon from his hits such as "Jane Fonda" and, our very favorite, "My Dick." A sampling of the lyrics:
My dick cost a late night fee Your dick got the HIV My dick plays on the double feature screen Your dick went straight to DVD
My dick- bigger than a bridge Your dick look like a little kid's My dick- large like the Chargers, the whole team Your shit look like you fourteen
My dick- locked in a cage, right Your dick suffer from stage fright My dick- so hot, it's stolen Your dick look like Gary Coleman
My dick- pink and big Your dick stinks like shit My dick got a Caesar do, Your dick needs a tweezer, dude
And then on 9/23 (okay, fine, not technically the weekend), the Get Up Kids returned to the Glass House in Pomona as a part of their reunion tour. Youth Group and Pretty & Nice here. See the rest of the photos here. The Get Up Kids are: Matthew Pryor, Jim Suptic, Rob Pope, Ryan Pope and James Dewees. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, the band first formed in 1995. They broke up in 2005 but announced three years later that they would be going on a reunion tour in 2009.
