What Was On Your OC Freeway This Morning?

• I once saw a bean bag chair on the freeway. People were running over it mostly by accident and the little beads were going everywhere.. Let's not forget the Prom night incident a couple years back where the girl was struck by 17 cars after falling from the limmo. SHE was what you might see all over the freeway. Gruesome!

• I once asked what sort of stuff the freeway folks find. A laughing CalTrans employee told of finding somebody's upper denture.

• Here's one for Ripley's ... mid-afternoon on the 5 en route the Weekly from south county; propped against the middle divider is a 12-speed bike; its rider, hands cuffed behind his back, is sitting on the wall, being lectured by a finger-wagging cop. Question: How the #*#@ did the pendejo make it all the way to the divider without getting his drunk/stoned/just-plain-loco butt run over?
