Driving While Talking on the Phone is Like Drunk Driving?

Much ado today over the revelation that the U.S. Department of Transportation withheld data about car cell phone use which basically concluded that gabbing away on your cell phone while driving -- even on a hands-free set -- is the equivalent of driving drunk.

State lawmakers in California say measures created to prevent drivers from yapping while driving are working at reducing the number of cell-phone related car accidents. But we don't see too many tickets being handed out to those naughty freeway chatters these days.
