Anatolian Cultures and Food Festival, Friday-Sunday 10 a.m.

The Anatolian Cultures and Food Festival will celebrate the cultures, cuisines and history of Anatolia (known as modern day Turkey). The aim of the festival is to strengthen civil society and cross-cultural awareness. So, eat, drink and be merry.

OC Fairgrounds, 88 Fair Dr., Costa Mesa, CA

Picasso at the Lapin Agile, until Sat. April 11, 8 p.m.

Produced by Steve Martin and set in the early 1900s, the play is a meditation on the nature of talent and all its trappings--with a time-bending cameo by the King of Rock and Roll and a host of other zany comings and goings. Prepare for laughs but leave your King Tut dance at home.

Long Beach Playhouse, 5021 E. Anaheim St., Long Beach, CA; 562-494-1014

Japanese Cherry Blossom Family Festival, April 5, 12p.m.

Starting at the end of March every year, during hanami, which literally translates to "flower viewing," hundreds of Japanese gather at parks, temples and shrines with friends and family to just... enjoy the view.

Bowers Museum of Cultural Art, 2002 N. Main St., Santa Ana, CA; 714-567-3600
