Another Tricky Dick Nixon Stupid Lie Emerges

Can't add much to this recent laobserved.com item concerning Orange County's most infamous native:

"Former President Richard Nixon began his memoir with the line, "I was born in the house my father built." Well, in 1959 his mother told the Los Angeles Times he was born in a hospital."

The website links to the January 10, 1959, Times article. The piece, "Yorba Lindans Dedicate Nixon's Boyhood Home," describes how--despite Mrs. Frank A. Nixon's unequivocal declaration--a bronze plaque was "proudly" placed on "a neat little white frame house" for the then-vice president as a (fraudulent) historical marker.
