What You Missed Over The Weekend Part XXIII

Categories: What You Missed

PhotobucketThis weekend Gustavo Arellano sharpened his writing pen and wrote a post calling-out historian Chris Jepsen for not referencing his pieces on a historical blog.

Alex Brant-Zawadzki reported (again) on the continuing construction cost climb on estimates for the 241 Toll Road through Tressles.
Been on a meat eating binge? Edwin Goei's Monster Munching has the perfect solution for a detox, Souplantation's cookies. Apparently they're "buttery and not overly sweet." Mmm.

Gustavo also caught The Register embarrassing themselves with more copy editing errors in this week's Sunday edition including forgetting to capitalize the "a" when writing about Angel Stadium. Ouch.

Photographer Kenny Davis shot heavy metal band Iron Maiden at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, while Dave Segal and Nate Jackson attended Detroit Bar's Tenth Annual hip hop event, The Abstract Workshop, and Nate Jackson reviewed Look Daggers and LD Ariano at The Prospector in Long Beach.

Need some visual stimulation? Follow Gabriel Ryan's lead. He attended the Grand Opening of Hibbleton Gallery in Fullerton.

Then it's time to sharpen your razor blade and read Andrew Youssef's review of The Cure at The Shrine Auditorium.
