Hole in my heart

Over at Pererro, Julie Scott laments the disappearance of Krispy Kreme chains from Orange County:

I already noticed that pretty much every location I was used to seeing had been taken over by Chik-Fil-A, with the notable exception of the Block in Orange. A skim through their website confirms that Orange and Mission Viejo are now the only locations left for the formerly ubiquitous donut chain.

Not that I was all that sad. How often do you really get a craving for fresh donuts at 10 p.m. anyhow? And how often should you really indulge that craving? I'm probably better off getting a chicken wrap and a fruit cup from Chik-Fil-A anyhow.
