• As one of OC's leading conservative commentators, Pete Fundy is a big fan of Hugh Hewitt. Okay, not really. But as someone who *has* been toeing the Republican line for quite some time, I should be at least half as MSM as Hugh Hewitt himself. Heavens to Murgatroid, the man has spent more time in KCET's studios than Martin Sheen and Ed Begley, Jr. combined. Don't stand on your PBS pedestal, sir, and preach to Pete Fundy about the "MSM." • As usual, the Republican "toe the line" mentality continues to permeate free press and speech to the point of adding incentive for investors, as evidenced in The News Right Now. One can't help imagine what it might be like to be a "fly on the wall" and take inventory of just how many "investment" opportunities are offered to "toe the line" Republicans. Is there a possibility that investment opportunities offered by Republicans "toe the line" types are also permeating government, transportation and legislative forums? When does it all end and when will the Republicans be held accountable for separation of church and state violations of the law and financial conflicts of interest? We must be thankful that the Democrats are now in charge....
