Young Man-Baby Spotted

As I sit outside a Newport Beach Starbucks, four young folk stride out of the parking lot in mid-conversation.
"Oh," exclaims one girl, "if only we could live off our parents' money forever." Everyone laughs. "Wouldn't that be great?"
They look young. High school, maybe. They don't sound sarcastic.
"I don't know about you, but I'm gonna," says one of the guys. They draw near my table. "Not to sound like an asshole or anything, but I am!"
A girl asks him, "How old are you?"
"24."
And they tumble into Stabucks. And the world turns. And I think I'm crying.
