Fulfill Your Music Video Fantasies Tonight at Busywork

If you've ever dreamed of being in a music video, and who hasn't (I wish it was me being pulled on stage to dance with Bruce Springsteen in the "Dancing in the Dark" video instead of that harlot Courtney Cox, sadly I was only 1 year old at the time), then tonight is the night to go to weekly dance night Busywork at Detroit Bar.

They're filming the video for Busywork resident DJ Dan Sena's remix of "Haus of Cards" by Weird Science (not to be confused with the 1985 teen comedy, the song from the movie by Oingo Boingo or the 1994-1998 USA Network show based on the film), the new collaboration between DJ Steve Aoki (who grew up in Newport Beach and is the founder of Dim Mak Records, son of late Benihana founder Rocky Aoki, brother of actress Devon Aoki, etc.) and Blake Miller of Moving Units (who are playing at the Glass House on Sat., Jan. 24--Moving Units, that is). Here's the song; imagine you dancing to it in a few hours.
