Yesterday's Chinese hip-hop post got me thinking about Cold Blooded Animal, a band I fell hard for when I discovered them at a South By Southwest some years ago. They're usually described as a Chinese Nirvana, but they go deeper than that, and their lyrics sometimes bravely cross over into bold political pronouncements. The Chinese government, however, lets them be.
