Rebecca Black - Yo no soy 132

There's a new video featuring Rebecca Black on YouTube that's racking up the dislikes, and surprisingly, it has nothing to do with her singing! The Anaheim Hills teenager, whose viral monstrosity "Friday" propelled her to internet celebrity last year, is using her fading fame to lend support to PRI candidate Enrique Peña Nieto in Mexico's upcoming presidential elections. Telegenic and slick, he's seeking to return his disgraced party to the highest office after it had it under lock and key in what was described as "the perfect dictatorship" for 71 years until 2000.

[UPDATED] Rebecca Black's 'Friday' Video is Gone, Gone, Gone, Gone!

Off YouTube, but forever stuck in our heads. Partyin' partyin' yeah!
UPDATE, JUNE 17, 2:45 P.M.: So Friday has come, and all is still silent. As we sit here, lookin' forward to . . . nothing, here are some more details on the disappearance of Rebecca Black's "Friday" video:

According to Reuters, there's been a months-long dispute between Black's lawyers and Ark Music, which produced the YouTube megahit.

. . . Black says she never got the master recordings allegedly due to her by contract and that Ark hadn't attained the necessary rights to advertise her as an exclusive Ark recording artist and commercially exploit the song in derivatives like ringtones.

You'd think a so-called record label would have these legalities covered, but then again, who would have predicted a song about cereal and car seats would rack up more than 167 million views on YouTube and nearly $25,000 in weekly profits

Five Suspects in the Rebecca Black Death Threat Case

rebecca-creepy.jpg
As reported yesterday, YouTube pestilence and "Friday" singer Rebecca Black received death threats in March, leading to an ongoing investigation by the Anaheim PD.

We're not sure what's more pathetic--threatening an 8th grader, or a detective having to waste time hunting down anyone who takes Black seriously enough to send her scary emails.

Until the cops bring the perp to justice, we humbly seek to aid the investigation by suggesting the following suspects.

Rebecca Black's Ultra-Auto-Tuned Jay Leno Appearance Was Sadder Than We Expected

Rebecca_Blackjayleno.jpg
Here are the things we learned from watching Rebecca Black on Jay Leno last night: Nick Jonas sang her song at a charity Sunday night, she's had 35 million views on YouTube, and it's been watched more times than Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." Simon Cowell wants to meet her; Ryan Seacrest has been "amazing" to her. And she really, really, really can't sing.
Proof? She started singing the chorus only after the music had started, so it was obvious that not only was she just singing along to the track, but also it was Auto-Tuned to death. (Not that we should care--after all, she's donating the proceeds of her song to Japan. Good girl!) Watch it after the jump.
