Couple of new shows added to the Glass House's schedule, both on sale tomorrow at noon (Friday, for the time displaced).
Sweden's Opeth (pictured)--a thinking man's heavy metal band if ever there was one--comes to Pomona on Friday, May 15. Enslaved opens. Opeth are currently touring behind their ninth studio album, Watershed, which came out last summer. $25 in advance, $28 at the door.
Lo-fi male-female duo The Kills, who also have a fairly recent record (last spring's Midnight Boom), are also coming to P-town, on Thursday, May 21. The Horros and The Magic Wands open; $16 now, $18 day of show.
Oh, and we missed this somehow, but demitasse-sized American Idol season seven runner-up David Archuleta wiill be there on March 17, which is kind of wacky. Should be a great mix of little girls and old ladies there.
