For those of you with cash to burn, there is no better excuse for a pre-summer sonic excursion than the arrival of South by Southwest. The ability to stumble around the Austin bar scene with a new noise at every turn has turned this Spring music festival into the beast that it is today after 22 years. This year, a well-respected round-up of OC and LB bands are putting our little sliver of culture on the radar. Included are bands like Crystal Antlers (pictured) and south county darlings Japanese Motors. Here are the other bands who you can expect to run into at SXSW (Mar. 18-22) according the the festival website. Any more, we didn't catch? Let us know.

-Japanese Motors (Costa Mesa)
-Audacity (Fullerton)
-Blank Blue (Long Beach)
-Dirty Heads (Huntington Beach)
-Crystal Antlers (Long Beach)
-Cold War Kids (Long Beach)
-Rocco De Luca and the Burden (Long Beach)
-The Willowz (Anaheim)
-Magic Lantern (Long Beach)
-Free Moral Agents (Long Beach)
