Incoming: The Streets, Voodoo Glow Skulls Coming to the Glass House

Sure, The Streets (née Mike Skinner) hasn't made as much of a splash in the latter-half of the decade as he did in the first, but there's no denying that Original Pirate Material and A Grand Don't Come For Free were fantastic records ("Dry Your Eyes" is like the best British white boy hip hop lost love ballad of all time, yo). And he's continuing to push things forward, what with Everything Is Borrowed hitting last year and another album scheduled for 2010.

And he's coming to the Glass House in Pomona, too! Oct. 14, tickets are on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. for $21. And there's more neat stuff coming to the Glass House, and the Fox Theater across the street, too.

Aug. 1: California Street Music Festival (Voodoo Glow Skulls, Assorted Jellybeans, Knock-Out, Cellphish, Los Kung Fu Monkeys, B-Sharps) at the Glass House
The B-Sharps! Known for their hit "Baby on Board," of course.
On sale: Now, $13.

Sept. 19:
Every Time I Die; Bring Me the Horizon; Oh, Sleeper; Architects at the Glass House
Zune is one of the sponsors of this show. People still buy Zunes! Apparently.
On sale: Noon tomorrow, $20-$22.

Sept. 22: In Flames, Between the Buried and Me, Three Inches of Blood, The Faceless at the Fox Theater Pomona
Some of the toughest band names around.
On sale: Presale tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (password is "GROWL," awesome). Regular on sale 10 a.m. Saturday. $24.

Sept. 23: The Get Up Kids, Youth Group, Pretty & Nice at the Glass House.
Yay Get Up Kids are back. Speaking of band names, "Pretty & Nice" is great.
On sale: Right freakin' now! $23-$26.
