Last week, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters entered into a minor public spat with Glee overlord Ryan Murphy when he announced that none of his music would ever appear on the FOX-TV hit. Grohl is not the first rock star to issue a No Glee statement to the press-- Coldplay and Guns N' Roses did the same before him (Coldplay's Chris Martin, ever the Brit pushover, eventually relented).

Glee's Matthew Morrison Performs Solo for Charities

Matthew Morrison, lead actor of Fox's musical-comedy series Glee, graduated from the Orange County School of the Arts in 1997. He performed his first solo concert outdoors at the Grove in Los Angeles on Jan. 30 in support of the Oscar Meyer Good Mood Mission, which promotes doing good deeds in the community. Over the weekend, Morrison gave his fans a preview of his soon-to-be-released solo album and told My Fox LA.com  that he will be singing duets of "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" and "Rocket Man" with Sir Elton John.
