This Friday night, Eric Burdon, one of the last standing icons from the golden age of rock, will be hitting the stage at The Coach House, one of only a handful of shows the singer has planned in 2013.

Over the past few years, Burdon has experienced a revival of sorts. At last year's South-by-Southwest, Bruce Springsteen told onlookers at his keynote speech that Burdon was the person who had the strongest influence on his songwriting and proceeded to invite him on stage at his not-so-secret show that same night.

Since then, the Animals front man has stayed busy. In addition to playing with Springsteen, the man who Rolling Stone ranked its 57th greatest singer of all time played on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in January in support of his latest album, 'Til Your River Runs Dry. The album is his tenth solo record and 28th studio album overall.

With classic rock radio staples like "House of the Rising Sun," "We Gotta Get Out of This Place" along with his work with War, the 71-year-old Brit will undoubtedly be playing the hits in addition to his new material at his show as well.
