Duane Peters Struck By Car, Postpones Slidebar Show This Weekend

There's some bad news to report fans of Duane Peters Gunfight. Earlier this week, Peters was struck by car and according to his website, the 51-year-old singer suffered a ruptured lung, bruised kidney, sprained left wrist and a smashed left foot (though it isn't broken). That being said, the band's show Sunday night at The Slidebar Rock N Roll Café in Fullerton has been postponed.

Peters, aka "The Master of Disaster" is probably best known as the front man for the U.S. Bombs as well as a professional skateboarder and OC punk legend. Anyone who knows Peters is aware that saying he's been banged up a few times in his life is a definite understatement. For more on that history, see this story we did on him a couple years ago.

The band's website doesn't show any tour dates at the present time and there will be information as we learn more. For now we'll just hope for his speedy recovery.
