10 Punk Albums to Listen to Before You Die

1. The Dwarves, Blood, Guts & Pussy
Song titles include "Back Seat of My Car," "Let's Fuck," "Skin Poppin' Slut," "Insect Whore" and "Flesh Tantrum." If that isn't enough to make you want to hear this before you die, I don't know what is. Awesome titles aside, the 12 songs on this record fucking slay. The longest is one minute and thirty-four seconds long, but this album lacks nothing.

I'm not bagging out the list because it's subjective but one punk band that frequently gets overlooked for their contributions is 'The Saints' and their album  (I'm) Stranded. Check it out..

Is the idea to listen to these IMMEDIATELY before you die, or at some point along the continuum?

Nice list, but I need some Against Me in the mix. Reinventing Axl Rose or the live release, Americans Abroad. Brilliant.

Where's the Germs and Generation X? And there's someone on here that thinks punk is puke and now I am starting to think that person doesn't have any friends.

List doesn't include "Los Angeles" by ~X~ or any Clash, so it's an epic FAIL.

mophisto.waltz
mophisto.waltz

hmmm..... interesting... where are the Circle Jerks? Social Distortion? Bad Religion? TSOL? FEAR? specifically FEARS first album. Where is Agnostic Front? Or The Cro-Mags? Where is X? Agent Orange? MDC? The Germs?  and Minor Threat not on the list because they dont have a full length album? Their singles trump most of the albums that you have on this list.....

Brandon Garvin
Brandon Garvin

Good records on there, but there's WAY better stuff to listen to before you die.

@mophisto.waltz Circle Jerks? Social Distortion? Bad Religion? TSOL? FEAR...could be left off the list.  Just saying.  X, Germs, Minor Threat should not have been.  But matters of IMO
