This week we got in touch with Parker Macy of Creme Tangerine at the Lab, 2930 Bristol St. in Costa Mesa, (714) 932-0552.  Looks like Jack White is back in the game! Or at least he is at Creme Tangerine, where Blunderbuss earns yet another top spot.

5. Nirvana, Nevermind (DGC)

Some classics never die, and even though the underwater baby boy and his dollar bill  have long since become a relic of '90s grunge rock (dude is like, 21-years-old now), Nevermind shows no signs of losing charm. Somewhere out there, stoned teenagers will always rock out to "Smells like Teen Spirit" and play shitty covers of "Come as You Are," and that's how it should be. Nirvana's classic sophomore album Nevermind snagged the number 5 spot this week.

4. The Black Keys, El Camino (Nonesuch)

You've really gotta love a band like the Black Keys, who seem pretty socially awkward but deliver riff after riff of catchy bluesy minor pentatonic scales that never seem to bore us. Their seventh studio album, El Camino, might just be their most dynamic to date. It certainly does justice to the notoriety they gained for 2010's Grammy award-winning Brothers, and for this El Camino takes number four this week.

3. Pink Floyd, The Wall (Columbia)

It's no wonder that this Pink Floyd album is still selling, considering how "Another Brick in the Wall" has one of the most famous refrains of all time. Though not quite as iconic as The Dark Side of the Moon's cover, it's fair to say that The Wall is famous in its own right, having pretty much changed the course of concept album history. Number three is a fair spot.

2. Jeramiah Red, Ghost Tracks From The Getty
Jeramiah-Red-Album

The fact that they're the only local band on the list this week makes Jeramiah Red stand out even more than their name, which won them Best Band Named After a Beer in last year's Best Of edition of the Weekly. This band of OC-natives fuses buffalo-stomping classic rock with a little bit of funk, and the twangy drawl of singer and guitarist Wes Dickson's vocals. Check out their Facebook page, or better yet -- buy the record that got them to number two at Creme Tangerine this week.

1. Jack White, Blunderbuss (Third Man)

Ah, Jack White. What is there to say? Blunderbuss has been on more than a couple Hits posts since its release this past April. For a while it was to be expected, Jack White being the famous and eclectic guy that he is. But now, all of this success and the repeated number one spots beg the question -- what's next for Mr. White? And is it finally time for people to  consider buying a different record?
