John Doe and Exene Cervenka Team Up for Moonlight Graham Records' First Release

For their first release, Moonlight Graham Records are making a huge splash by launching a brand new full-length recording by the legendary duo of John Doe and Exene Cervenka of the seminal punk band, X. Entitled Singing And Playing, it will be out on April 10.

The record, produced by the owners of the clothing store Moonlight Graham in Orange, features eight acoustic tracks that were originally recorded with producer Dave Way in 2010 and were only available on CD to fans that attended John and Exene's series of Singing & Playing shows performed that summer.

Singing And Playing is available for $12.98 from iTunes and also from the Moonlight Graham Records web site at: www.moonlightgraham.net/singing-playing-cd.html.

The album features new versions of the X song, "See How We Are." One is a studio recording, but the second, live version was recorded at a Moonlight Graham in-store "hootenanny" that was headlined by John Doe and Exene in 2011.
