Suburban Legends Wants YOU To Open For Their Band (But You Have To Make a Silly Video First)

​Suburban Legends is looking for an opening act for their CD release show for their upcoming album Day Job (out April 3), but you can't do anything as mundane as audition for it like normal human beings. You're going to have to make a "creative video" and send it to SLCowboyContest@gmail.com by March 18. The contest is open to "all performance groups, bands, comedy troops, avant garde live art performers, dancers, geriatric cheer groups--whatever!"

The hard-partying ska band is partnering up with Cowboy Coffee for the contest; they're putting up the videos they like on their Facebook page on March 19, and the video that gets the most likes will be up for a chance to play at the release event. The winner will be announced on April 2.
There are no details about the Suburban Legends CD release event yet, but you can pre-order Day Job here.
