Former Korn Drummer David Silveria Busted For Alleged DUI, Says He Took a Sleeping Pill
The 39-year-old Silveria, who just recently joined the rock band INFINIKA, told TMZ that he "blew a 0.0 on the breathalyzer during his DUI arrest this week ... but says cops nailed him anyway over a sleeping pill he took the night before."
He further told TMZ that he "suffers from insomnia and took a sleeping pill Saturday night to help him rest. When he woke up Sunday morning, David says he didn't realize he was still too tired to drive ... and accidentally rear-ended another car on the way to breakfast." Although cops found no alcohol in Silveria's system, he was still arrested for a DUI. "It was an honest mistake," he says. We've reached out to Silveria via his new band, and are waiting for a statement.Early this year, Silveria went on Kornspace.com to say why he left Korn: "They had such bad egos and negative attitudes that I couldn't take it anymore. End of story," he said.
