Garbage is Giving Away Their New Single--Free

​Garbage is giving away their latest single "Blood For Poppies" on their website today! That's straight on the heels of Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson's appearance on Chelsea Lately last night (they have the same makeup artist).

According to Manson, the band went on hiatus because "We just got a bit despondent about the way the music business had gone, and our record company, we felt, were sort of greedy and all they cared about was money. And that wasn't why we wanted to be in a band in the first place." "We had a lot of issues toward the end of the last tour that we did, which is why we decided to come off the road," she said of Garbage in the oughties. Garbage's first album in seven years, Not Your Kind Of People, is due out on May 15.
