​With today being the official kickoff of the NAMM convention, expect Anaheim to be flooded with musicians instead of the usual Disneyland crowd. That being said, below are some of the best signings and events of the next few days, beginning this afternoon).

Thursday

JZ Microphones

1 p.m.: 13 Grammy winner and 25 nominated sound engineer Rafa Sardina (Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Shakira) will tell about his recent experience recording Lady Gaga's album "Born This Way", he'll also will talk about his recording techniques and give some tips and answer your questions.

Aphex, LLC

2 p.m.: Alan Parsons at Aphex - Innovative artist, legendary engineer, sound genius and master musician Alan Parsons will be at Aphex.

Agile Partners:

3 p.m.: Joel Kosche from Collective Soul and Steve McKinley will perform using Agile Partners' AmpKit app and the Peavey AmpKit LiNK guitar interface for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
