Red Hot Chili Peppers Reschedule Tour Due to Foot Injuries

Red Hot Chili Peppers postponed their upcoming U.S. tour supporting their Grammy-nominated snoozefest, I'm With You, due to multiple foot injuries sustained by lead singer Anthony Kiedis.

According to a statement, "Kiedis recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot and is expected to make a full recovery."

Tickets for the Southern California dates--originally set in February--have been rescheduled for mid-August and early September. The LA shows at the Staples Center, slated for  February 26 and 27 will be held on Aug. 11 and 12, and the San Diego show at the Valley View Casino Cente originally set for Feb. 29 will be held on Sept. 23.

snoozefest, I'm With You, due to multiple foot injuries sustained by lead singer Anthony Kiedis. 2 things to point out... 1) I'm glad you think this album sucks too and 2) I again refer to the Epicenter 2009 at Pomona Fairplex where MJK sang the whole show in a walking boot and Tool tore that place apart.  Probably my top Tool Show out of the 9 times I have seen them but who's counting! 

ANYWAYS I digress MJK summed it up best when he opened that show by saying he was “kicked in the balls by God” and he had hurt himself, and how he should be praised for even showing up, as lesser pretentious singers such as HIMSELF would have cancelled the gig.  He mentioned how he knew it was important for the audience to “get drunk and run into each other” and he didn’t want to let em down.
