Azealia Banks to Perform at Coachella?

​The official Facebook account for the much anticipated fest doesn't update too often, but when it does, one should pay attention.

A little over a half-hour ago, a YouTube video for Azealia Banks' oral sex anthem "212" was posted--along with zero comments, sure, but still an ominous clue indeed.

​Banks, just 20-years-old,  has been making waves with everyone from Pitchfork snootists to hip-hop heads with her seriously filthy lyrics--and we're okay with that--and landing her coveted spots in year-end lists like NME's Cool List and NPR's 100 Favorite Songs of 2011.


The Harlem-raised singer/rapper with the musical theater background has already worked with producers like Diplo, Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence and the Machines, Friendly Fires, Block Party, the Rapture) but it seems like she's only starting her ascension.

Coachella 2012's line-up should be announced sometime mid-January. . . See you in the desert?
