Balam Acab, a 20-year-old producer from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, NY, was going to college for music education. Now he's back living at his parents' house. But he's no regular dropout. His watery dreamscapes have been praised by actress Ellen Page in Entertainment Weekly and picked up for a L'Oréal commercial starring Beyoncé.

He won our affection with his remix to '90s forever super jam, Ghost Town DJ's "My Boo." He's on Tri Angle Records, along with Lil B/A$SP Rocky producer Clams Casino, and we want to give you tickets to see him this Friday, December 16th, at The Echoplex. Read on for details.
