David Guetta is the first DJ to have his handprints immortalized at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

The French native, whose mystical ability behind the booth has the power to reconnect the continents, was recognized this weekend by the iconic Hollywood theatre.

The bright side? His hands won't lie alongside Judy Garland's, Paul Newman's, and Marilyn Monroe's.

Instead, Guetta is just the first musician to stick his hands in cement for Grauman's new program, Handprints Homage, which only spotlights musicians and DJs. The prints will be hung on the wall of the renovated Grauman's Ballroom, the lobby of the Chinese 6 theater complex.

The ceremony took place before a concert in the ballroom celebrating his recent nabbing of the number-one spot in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs ("Best Known For: Killing the dance floor!"). According to this review, the lobby was transformed into Vegas for the night, complete with beefed-up bouncers, bottle service, and strippers go-go dancers. We're sad we missed that.
