Ricki La Touche: Scum and villainy.
Strange things are afoot in Manchester, England.

30-year-old Rickie La Touche has been found guilty of suffocating his wife, Pornpilai Srisroy, 28, after a series of arguments which led to her destroying his collection of Star Wars toys (nay, memorabilia!) in April.

Shortly afterward, La Touche went to his mother confessing he had murdered his wife.

According to the Telegraph, Srisroy had promised to make La Touche's life "hell" after a series of arguments and threatened to return to her native Thailand.

La Touche was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to serve a minimum of 12 years.

The fear of loss is a path to the "Dark Side."

A person who actually feels such a homicidal attachment to mere objects that they would murder a loved one deserves more time in jail than 12 years. The fact that this man thinks he was justified in suffocating his wife because she destroyed his property is completely reprehensible...

Clearly toys promote violence - this is a prime example of that. We should ban all toys. Liang Yaoqiang  has been convicted for life imprisonment as he stabbed his girlfriend more than 200 times. http://goo.gl/zTDoR

Clearly a person with issues. I suspect that this was just the excuse/trigger that precipitated the violence. Apparently another little boy that wasn't taught that "no" means "no". It raises the hairs on the back of my head when I see a kid being a little shit and the parent's response is, "he's just being a boy". Boys can be taught to control themselves too.
