The event has been officially cancelled by groove tickets/flavor us GO venture has officially lost all credibility with me for the way they mislead fans and continued to take people's money even after the whole James event venue fiasco. I will not be attending anymore of there events and am very curious to see how TAO will end up, if there is even going to be a TAO, I can't see which artist/venue would be foolish enough to work with these swindlers of a promo company!

It looks like Insomniac will have a monopoly after all this. Sorry Go Ventures as much as I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt about all of this at the end of the day the finger is pointing at you. You just don't mess with the #1 DJ in the world like that. Not only did you tarnish your image forever but you also gave a hit to the best DJ in the world Armin Van Buuren. So in this case I have to stick up to my motivator and Trance DJ legend. The hardest thing for you to swallow and everyone at Go Ventures is how do you allow such tragic disaster knowing you are booking the world's greatest DJ? This is inexcusable and should have never happened all this basically makes Go Ventures look like a bunch of clueless kids who don't know the meaning of business. As much as I don't agree with everything Insomniac does and the way they handle things at this point I would go to any one of their event over yours.

Girl scouts just moved their event from Oak Canyon to Costa Mesa, this is exactly the kind of progress that we were going to see and ARE. Most people don't understand how the legal process works and how of course James Events is going to say Monster Massive is NOT going to happen if they don't have an agreement set it officially, when they do the box on their homepage will change. This stuff doesn't happen overnight. Yes GV procrastinated, but at least they are getting the job done slowly but SURELY, WOOOT ARMIN!!

Well...I'm one of those teenagers, but I've NEVER been hating from the start. I like to logically believe this whole event is too big to just fail and not be as advertised. To everyone out there: No official source says MM isn't going to happen, no official source says Armin isn't coming, James Events is the only official source that says it's not happening at OAK CANYON (still will happen regardless if not, somewhere else), but it still has a good chance at happening at Oak Canyon for a large myriad a reasons, so have faith!! Look at all of the facts, and facts only you can gather and you'll see there is no major reason to worry so much.

Reading the comments on this board is disgusting. Teenagers that haven't even accomplished anything in their life commenting on the professionalism of Go Ventures? Who are these kids and what do they know about throwing a massive? Throwing parties is not an easy business, 99 percent of all promoters can't even keep it going for three years. I don't know what is going on with this event but Go Ventures has a great record and I hope it works out. Those that want it to fail are haters and failures themselves. Losers are negative. Successful people don't get satisfaction from the misfortune of others. If I remember correctly, everything was fine until EDC 2010, from that point on things have sucked. Who's fault is that?

wow thats some shitty logic, HAHAHA, not to say that i'm anything special, but to counter your logic about your post, i'm 34 years old and currently the lead attending surgeon at my hospital, i'm very happy with where i am in my life and i've had an addiction to electronic music since i was a kid, the entire demographic may seem like under-aged teenagers oblivious to "real life" but mind you there are plenty "mature" responsible adults that love the music as much as the next one and simply want to voice an opinion. What makes you think any of us are teenagers? You obviously are all P.L.U.R'd up still, many of my friends work jobs they are not happy at to be able to afford the overpriced tickets that these companies charge for massives these days so you better believe we will all speak up if we feel our hard earned money is gonna be wasted. Yes these companies put in hard work to throw the shows but that doesn't justify giving the customers the run-around. And are you really trying to blame insomniac? A rave is a rave and shit will happen no matter what party it is, Insomniac just happens to be the biggest promoter in the country pretty much, so with that many people attending an event the probability that there will be some trouble is far greater obviously. People are simply responding to the lack of communication to the customers, and the communication that is presented as shown in the comments is very "unprofessional", plur doesnt solve everything. wise up.

Congratulations on your career as a surgeon, but you still could never throw a 10,000 plus person event no matter how hard you tried and there are very few people on this planet that can do so properly. EDC 2010 lacked security and that lead to a lot of the problems - including people gate crashing and people not getting medical attention. EDC 2010 was chaos, and there was plenty of money spent on frivolous lights and stages and art displays and video cameras on 100 foot long arms. That money should have been spent on security and the event would not have been rave-o-geddon. By the way, the problems at EDC 2010 also lead to Winterfresh getting hosed.

EDC 2010 proved to the world that some production companies are dangerously irresponsible, and the whole scene has been paying for it since that weekend. Specifically, why do you think Go Ventures can not use the LA Sports Arena for MM?

The tickets are expensive, but the market sets the price. If you don't like it, then you throw a party and make your tickets $40 and see how that goes. Go ahead and guess how much all the permits and other expenses for a massive are. People have NO CLUE.

You either work for Go Venture or have friends there. I by no means support Insomniac and I was one of those hard working adults who attended EDC 2010. So what you speak about EDC is very accurate and true. But, although Insomniac didn't know the meaning of security to accommodate the size of EDC at least they made it happen.

Now none of us know the fine details about any of this so rather then assume things we can at least agree and say Go Venture F***** up big time on this ! Legit or not this is the worst screw up I have even seen or heard of. I rather attend a event with not enough security then one that takes the money from thousands who doesn't even have a venue secured. Armin is the biggest DJ on the planet he sells out everything and anything. So to have such amazing talent and caliber DJ playing at your event wouldn't you at least make sure you had a venue? This whole thing brings a new meaning to the word SHADY. Again I am by no means for Insomniac I think they made many bad decisions too but at least they don't have such horrific tragedy under their belt like this. This is the end of Go Venture ! I personally believe MM is going to happen, and at Oak Canyon because Armin is far too high of a profile artist to let all of his fans down, especially when at least half of the people are probably going just for him. My guess is Go Ventures/Armin will cut a deal with James Events behind closed doors. If it doesn't happen there, it absolutely should happen at a large venue like 20 miles within the radius of Oak Canyon- there are too many people flying from out of state/country, hotels booked etc. to make it out of Orange County really. Everyone should be more hopeful. However if it doesn't happen at Oak Canyon or within a reasonable radius of it, can you say FUCKING MEGA LAWSUITS AND GO VENTURES FUTURE DESTROYED- I will be one of those suing if this is so, it is entirely not allowed and illegal. My 2 cents.
