The carrot on a stick? Child star-turned-trainwreck Lindsay Lohan (whose latest work is a starring role in a music video) and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz are confirmed festival guests. (Because yes, that will definitely get me to Hidden Valley if the Bravery won't.)
From the press release:
The Playground Festival's Coachella-like craziness gets started at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 3. Then, at 8:30 p.m., the after-party starts at the recently reopened Yost Theater in Santa Ana. Doors open to the public at 10 p.m. and the party rages until 2 a.m.
All festival attendees with wristbands (and 21 years old and older) will be granted free admission long before the general public. The night will feature Yost Theater's "Show", with DJ duo Lazrtag, aerialists, contortionists, break dancers, stilt-walkers, burlesque dancers, gymnasts, magicians and more.
The all-ages festival will feature a "never-before-seen lineup" featuring The Game, Big Sean, Panic! at the Disco, Lil Jon, New Boyz, The Cataracs, Break the Circus, Steel Panther, Mickey Avalon, celebrity DJ Heavy Grinder, Fishbone and more.
The Playground Festival takes place Sept. 3-4 at Hidden Valley, Irvine, Calif. (the old Lion Country Safari grounds), next to the Verizon Amphitheater.
