Guns N' Roses Touring for the First Time in Five Years

For some reason, Guns N' Roses announcing they are going to tour isn't irritating at all.

For their first major U.S. tour in five years, the group, which really is only Axl Rose and an all-new band, will play more than 30 concerts starting Oct. 28.
Guns N' Roses spent much of 2010 on a world tour that spanned South America, Canada and Europe. The new Guns N' Roses lineup includes keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and Richard Fortus, longtime bassist Tommy Stinson, and Frank Ferrer on drums.

No word on a Southern California date yet.

If you see Axl on a good night, it will be one of the best shows you'll ever see.  That's more often than not, contrary to what you may read.

The band is also great.  Many have been there as long or longer than the originals at this point.

And seriously, if you go to a GN'R show not expecting Axl to show up late, then the joke is on you!
