Major/Minor, Thrice's seventh studio album, has a Sept. 20 release date. The cover, as you can see up here, looks like a cross between the Shroud of Turin and a Mark Rothko painting. They started recording it last May; lead
singer Dustin Kensrue said this album was "definitely the most natural progression from record to record that we've had in a while."
Before the new album is released, you can see them at the soon-to-reopen Yost Theater in Santa Ana (307 Spurgeon St.) Saturday, Aug. 13, 8 p.m. They'll set out for a headlining tour for Major/Minor by the end of September.
