Weenie Roast 2011 Lineup Announced

​It's been a whole  year! KROQ announced just this morning the full line-up for their 2011 Weenie Roast, and the roster--as usual--is a nice little mix of the mainstream with the not-exaaactly-mainstream. Headliners? Linkin Park, Rise Against, the Strokes and Bad Religion. But on the same lineup: Foster the People, Lykke Li.

And hey, guess what, local kids Young the Giant from Irvine (who USA Today just declared "on the verge" a couple of days ago) are also on the list.

The Strokes at Coachella 2011.

​To take place June 4 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater: Linkin Park, Rise Against, the Strokes, Bad Religion, Cage the Elephant, A Day to Remember, Face to Face, Neon Trees, the Airborne Toxic Event, Lykke Li, Foster the People, Young the Giant.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Sat., May 7 at all Ticketmaster locations. Here's the breakdown of prices:

• Orchestra: $75 + fees
• Loge: $75 + fees
• Center Terrace: $75 + fees
• Rear Side Terrace: $55 + fees
• Lawn: $45 + fees
