Speaking of Mos Def, he's joining the Showtime show Dexter (about a serial killer who only kills bad people) for its sixth season, says Billboard.

Apparently the 37-year old Brooklyn rapper/actor will play Brother Sam, "a hardened ex-con who claims to have found religion yet seems to continually find himself surrounded by violence." Colin Hanks will also join the cast as a villain.

Mos Def has been acting since 14, and has appeared in several films including HBO's Something the Lord Made, Monster's Ball and Be Kind Rewind.
