Free Ticket Tuesday: Aloe Blacc at Detroit Bar!
![]() |
The Laguna Hills native who began his career in 1995 as half of hip-hop outfit Emanon (he was the emcee/singer to DJ/producer Exile), also the first-generation American offspring of Panamanian parents and USC grad is playing a hometown show, so to speak, after wowing indie alt outlets such as Pitchfork and the like.
We'd gush a little more here, but we'd rather you check him out yourselves; listen to his music and find out how to get tickets after the jump.
All you have to do to get tickets is follow OC Weekly's music blog, Heard Mentality on Twitter @ocweeklymusic and like us on Facebook! Once you follow us, tweet at us and tell me why you want to go to the show. Best answer wins!
