Local Kid to Play Jimmy 'the Rev' Sullivan in Avenged Sevenfold Video

Orange County band Un D Vided, founded by 13-year-old drummer Harley deWinter, specializes in a brand of classic-style rock in the vein of Pat Benatar and Heart--Not exactly the kind of band you would expect to be kindred spirits with a group who got their start playing metal core.
But it seems young Harley had something director Wayne Isham, who is helming the forthcoming a7x video for the song "So Far Away," liked.
(Isham has been referred to as the James Cameron of video production for his epic visualizations for bands ranging from Metallica and Motley Crue to Whitney Houston. Still don't know who he is? Ever see the video for "Enter Sandman?")

Representatives for the band declined to comment on the forthcoming video, citing the fact that it's still in the editing stages. DeWinter did say that M. Shadows of a7x announced at a recent show the band has seen a rough cut of the video and mentioned it was emotionally difficult to watch. Sullivan passed away in December 2009 due to a combination of factors including drug intoxication and an enlarged heart.
Un D Vided will be playing a show at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano with Major F & Dealio on May 7. "They gave us 100 tickets to sell. We've sold 150," exclaims deWinter.
