Win Tickets to See the Dan Band at the Grove

The Dan Band is a comedy band from Los Angeles that was created by actor/comedian Dan Finnerty. Most famous for their appearance in Old School (performing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Lady"), the group have also graced the screen in The Terminal, Starsky and Hutch, and The Hangover.

They've recorded an hour-long performance called Dan Finnerty & the Dan Band: I Am Woman for the Bravo network, which was directed by Joseph McGinty Nichol (McG) and executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

With that said, we have two pairs of tickets to see the band play live on Saturday, Feb. 12 at the City National Grove of Anaheim. Punk rocker/radio host Joe Sib will be there to open the proceedings at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.).

Forgetting Sarah Marshall - How can you not love a movie with a Puppet Dracula Musical? Russel Brand's character is just too funny. The writting and acting brought a fresh take on the romantic comedy. I also love anything produced or affiliated with Judd Apatow.

The Hangover - This is my favorite comedy because it is easily quotable ie."How about that ride in?... I guess that's why they call it Sin City" and the movie is set in Las Vegas which is such an epic backdrop for a film. Add that to a great cameo by Mike Tyson and and a stellar cast not to mention the unforgettable Dan Band performance of "Candy Shop".
