It's shocking. . . . We were expecting Jack White
to continue joining and developing many more bands because The Raconteurs
, The Dead Weathe
r and his solo projects just aren't enough. Sadly, White informed Q Magazine
he will never form another new band. Maybe after the White Stripes disbanded
, he just couldn't go through the process another time? He admitted, "If I can't say it in any of these bands, then I'll say it by myself."
I can't help but wonder if his material will sound that good by himself? Without Meg
, can he really make great albums? Since he's the drummer for the Dead Weather and collaborates with Brendan Benson in the Raconteurs, will he find the time to produce material by himself on top of running his Third Man Records label? I'm pretty doubtful.
