New Smashing Pumpkins bassist Nicole Fiorentino admitted to being one of the two girls on 1993's Siamese Dream album cover. Weird, right? She would have been 13 years old when the album was released. According to NME, she was nervous to tell Billy Corgan in fear that he wouldn't hire her to play in the band. Luckily, he found out after the fact.
Fiorentino is a former member of
Spinnerette and
Veruca Salt. She is Smashing Pumpkins' fourth bass player, the second since they re-formed. Corgan tweeted, "Just found out the weirdest news: our bass player Nicole just admitted she is one of the girls on the cover of
Siamese Dream." Unfortunately, he did not tweet which girl she was. Here is a picture of Fiorentino below:
