It's the second night of the OC Music Awards showcase, and bands are competing to move forward in the Best Live Acoustic Act category. OC bands including Skee at the Motion Detectors, Honeypie, Headshine, Canvas and Stacy Clark will perform at the District at the Tustin Legacy.

Radio Personality Beer Mug from KROQ-FM 106.7's morning show will host the event. This year, the fans are in on the action--go to fanvote online, and help one of the artists in each category who weren't chosen by the panel of judges move to the Showcase Series Finals. This means your votes will help send another talented act through to the final round. Join me from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. as we enjoy a free, fun and entertaining night of great local music.
