• I can only imagine people paying these prices have never been. The polo field is HUGE and there is no way these scalpers are going to unload the glut of tickets they purchased. I have a feeling we will see prices drop drastically and a lot of scalpers at the event selling them for whatever they can get.

• It's not resale, it's scalping. Access to cultural and entertainment events should be a right of low-income groups, and scalping removes this right. You're making a terrible comparison because this is a monopoly. I have the option to buy other junk or another house if I don't like your price. I don't have the option to buy Coachella tickets from anyone but a scalper who will charge me $1k. It's illegal in most states. Identification of ticket buyers should checked to prevent this from happening.
