Three Indie Covers of 'O Come, O Come Emmanuel' that Should be on Repeat this Entire Season

​Christmas songs are generally cheesy and lame, so when you find one that is beautiful and touching, one that makes the hairs on the back of your neck go up, you should automatically save it in your queue and listen to it on headphones so you don't have to hear another version of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" again.

Case in point: "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," a song whose words were written in the 12th cen­tu­ry and translated to English in 1851. (The music apparently was written in the 15th century, and culled  from a pro­cess­ion­al of French Fran­cis­can nuns.)
