Tomorrow is World AIDS Day, so Alicia Keys asked artists such as Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Swizz Beatz and Usher to sign off Twitter and Facebook to help raise money for Keys' charity, Keep a Child Alive.

The campaign is called Digital Life Sacrifice and it hopes to raise $1 million.

According to Billboard, participants filmed themselves in a coffin, announcing their "last tweet and testament" in their "digital deaths." Keys told Billboard:

"It's really important and super-cool to use mediums that we naturally are on...It's so important to shock you to the point of waking up. It's not that people don't care or it's not that people don't want to do something, it's that they never thought of it quite like that. This is such a direct and instantly emotional way and a little sarcastic, you know, of a way to get people to pay attention."

Fans can also participate by donating to the cause via text message.
