Wrap your head around this: For the fifth year in a row, teams in 25 countries will perform the Thriller dance simultaneously tomorrow at the annual Thrill The World event. For Orange County, that means at 4 p.m. in Irvine, people will be "thrilling" at the Atomic Ballroom (17961 Skypark Cir. Suite C).

Dancer and choreographer Ines Markeljevic, founder and director of Thrill The World, set the first Guinness World Record for Largest Thriller Dance in 2006.

She explained that there are two time zones to choose from-4 p.m. or 11 p.m., so participants can participate at reasonable hours of the day.

The event is expecting 10,000-25,000 participants worldwide.

Last year, 22,596 participants in 33 countries danced "Thriller." I'm assuming that didn't include prisoners from the Philippines.
